Salary: £18 - 28k per annum negotiable on experience

Linbrooke Services is a leading Network Engineering company operating throughout the UK, specialising in telecommunications networks for mainline rail and other transport networks.

Due to successful growth, we are looking for Electricians to join our company.

Working on client projects, you will be heavily involved with project development, electrical installs as well as assisting the lead electrical engineer to ensure projects are delivered to time and budget constraints.

 Ideally you will have knowledge of transformers, cables and switchgears GIS, AIS as well as a basic understanding of SCADA/HMI and Remote Control Systems.

Although the company's offices are located in Sheffield and Castleford, the successful candidate will be required to travel to contract sites in and around the UK. Hours of work are flexible to meet the needs of the business operation.

Responsibilities
The role will involve working as part of a growing team producing work for the power and rail industries. Work will include but not be limited to the following:

• testing & certification activities
• reading design specifications and technical drawings;
• researching suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales;
• conducting tests;
• recording, analysing and interpreting test data;
• proposing modifications and retesting products;
• qualifying the final product or system;
• servicing and maintaining equipment;

Essential Requirements

• Qualified electrician
• Experience of large projects
• Previous experience within the power generation and rail industries
• Minimum 2 years Industry experience
• 17^th Edition
• City & Guilds 2391-10 Level 3
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
