Linbrooke Sponsor Network Rail and Thales

Linbrooke Services recently sponsored a team of fanatical anglers from Network Rail and Thales in the Makins Railsport 2009 National Championships. Representing Linbrooke in this high profile, annual event were Dave Moore, Tim Westmoreland, Terry Oaks, David Lloyd and Jim Leedham.

Preparation for the event went to plan and all team members performed well at Rolfs fishery and then later at the Makins venue, with individual weights of up to 250lb. However, the main event was less successful with a poor draw severely restricting the team chances and team captain Dave Moore also loosing several large fish.

Never mind boys let's look forward to next year !!!.
